I'm happy to announce that the store will be opening on schedule, and regular runs are now back in the store! I'm also going to be doing some customizing over the next few weeks to add some more customs for Ukraine support, which will be posted in my store with a 20 to 30% portion of the proceeds going towards Nova Ukraine, so be sure to check my eBay page often over the next month or so. I will be making some more Halloween customs, as well as some blue and yellow Ukraine flag color commemorative pieces, as requested by others. They will be added to the store shortly. Can y'all already believe it's almost April? That means the monthly Collector Club newsletter was put out, and it's a good one! They have a coupon code for BOGO blind bags using the code BOGO2022 in checkout, as well as a Lafayette giveaway if you missed out on him. For me, I lost interest in the Hamilton mold after I kept getting tippy ponies with the 70th anniversary models, so I ended up selling my entire conga. However, with the speculations that he might potentially be this year's Breyerfest surprise model, I'm starting to regret that decision. Anyways, as for the sneak peek, check out this glossy goodness... Breyer didn't give much of a hint this time. Now in past years, April was always the month for either the "Who Wore It Best" winner, the Classic gambler's choice and a lottery model, most likely another from the Birds of a Feather series. We can throw out the "Who Wore It Best" since Breyer didn't offer that last year at Breyerfest so it has to be one of the other two, and while it could potentially be Kingfisher, I'm more inclined to think it's the Classic gambler's choice, especially as the coloring is so close to last month's "birds" that I think it'd be a little too similar. The lack of muscling points towards the Classics scale molds. My first guess was the Arabian Mare mold, but I'm almost always wrong. Feel free to venture your own guesses in the comments!
Rumor has it that a model recently popped up on Amazon named "Anthem" who will more than likely be the next patriotic decorator. Questions have been flying in if I heard anything of him, and I have not. Yet. I don't know what mold, if he'll be clearware or anything else other than what was posted on Amazon, just like y'all. When I know more, I'll be sure to announce. Things have been settling down here over the past month so I'll be able to keep up on my blog more now. I ended up purchasing Old Glory off Amazon while he was on sale (at the time he was listed for $30) for my own collection, which I hated to do because Amazon admittedly is putting the small dealers out of business with their low prices and free shipping. This is why I thank all of you who are loyal to the little guys and continue ordering from us. Comments are closed.
