With Breyerfest coming up, Breyer hasn't released too much lately. They did offer this grullo Paso Fino as a test run to a lucky Collector Club member. He was a lovely model but came with a hefty $850 price tag. It was floating around on the Breyer Collector Club forums about the upcoming Premier Club horse. I'm not a member of the Premier Club but I do like this horse. I can't tell if he is supposed to be a Mustang or a gaited breed, like an Andalusian or Lusitano, but his name is Duende and I really like him. I am a sucker for dapple grey horses and really like the pose, even though it is not an action pose. Here is a picture of him and I give all credit to the photographer: Breyer also released a sneak peek of the Classics Paint horse family set that is coming out soon for the Vintage Club! Aren't they sweet? Remember Mirado, the new mold made for the Stablemates Club this year? Well they revealed a figure of him and he is stunning! I can't wait until he comes out, probably at the end of 2017. This is Griffin, the fall special run set to be released to Collector Club members only. He most likely will be limited to only 1,000 pieces and will probably sell out fast. He is a very flashy dappled blonde chestnut Irish Draught cross on the Cleveland Bay mold. Nice touch since the last few Collector Club special runs were on smaller molds so I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this one! There is rumor of an upcoming web special. I'm guessing it is going to be a part of the America the Beautiful series (meaning more than likely $160+ in price) especially given that it is on the forever popular Succession and Le Fire molds. Anyways here they are. Their names are Zion and Moah. Last year, Collector Club members were asked to choose which color they liked best on the Classics Swaps mold, which was later released as special run "Scotty" this year. Well it must have done better than they thought because this year they have asked Collector Club members which mold they liked best that were done in a certain color. The color was buckskin appaloosa and you could choose from either the Strapless mold, Connemara mare mold or the Fighting Stallion mold. I personally liked the Connemara mare mold the best. This horse is supposed to be released as a Collector Club model for 2018. Finally, I know you've all been waiting to see what the Bollywood Surprise was. It is on the Latigo mold and was done on either a buckskin, pintaloosa, chestnut pinto with blue eyes or bay and white pinto. You could either get matte or glossy.
