Red Dead Redemption Minis
2020 Wild Life Series
Patch is inspired by Frankensteed. He's a unicorn though rather than a horse but has similar patchwork coloring with gold stitching that was painted in 100% free hand. This guy was actually painted closer to the beginning of the year before the Missouri Fox Trotter mold came out as a mid year. I do plan on eventually doing another pattern similar to this on that mold as well. This horse has been SOLD to Arizona.
Ichabod Crane was made to look like Ichabod (or Crane) on the American Dream mold. His white areas glow in the dark. The major difference from the original horse is the markings and hoof coloring. This horse has been SOLD to Arizona.
Dance, Dance
This energetic boy deserved a coat with some spunky dancing skeletons on him. His baby blue eyes add to his unique splash paint color complete with mapping. This horse has been SOLD to Maryland.
Walking Dead
This horse was made to look like a zombie appaloosa with glow-in-the-dark bones. A spider adorns her tail.
Pumpkin Head
Hand painted in 100% acrylics on the Appaloosa (stock horse) mold. He has a yellow body with black legs/belly and a pumpkin head. In fact, I have decided to dub this one "Pumpkin Head". His ears are the stem and his eyes/mouth looks like a Jack o'lantern face. Similar to Illuminati, he has metallic Jack o'lanterns on his side with glow in the dark faces. The blue area around them also glows in the dark to shadow out the pumpkins when the lights go out. This is one of my final Stablemates Halloween customs for 2020, as I will be moving on to Christmas decorators next. This horse has been SOLD to Oklahoma.
One Too Many
Blue, brown and green eyeballs galore! This guy will be watching your every move, even in the dark when his eyes glow at you. The bloodshot eye whites prove this guy has had one too many. This horse has been SOLD to Florida.
Harvest Moon
No relation to the video game, this horse depicts a full moon coming up over the horizon with ghosts dancing, cats crawling and bats flapping in the belfrey. All white areas on this horse glow in the dark, including the ghosts! Cute little addition that's a fun scary instead of the creepy scary horses I usually make. This horse has been SOLD to Kansas.
Trick or Treat
His name is "Trick or Treat" and he has a mural of shadow children trick or treating at sunset on each side of his body. The trick or treaters glow in the dark. Made on the new Missouri Fox Trotter mold. This horse has been SOLD to Oklahoma.
Life of the Party
Life of the Party was inspired by Masquerade, the Connoisseur model. I couldn't resist attempting this project with the release of the 70th anniversary shrinky! This horse has been SOLD to Delaware.
Monster Mash
This creepy dude is "Monster Mash". The mural on one side depicts the grim reaper and a zombie (both glow in the dark) standing in a foggy graveyard. The other side depicts the Headless Horseman riding to the front gate of the graveyard. Tombstones, ghosts and an eerie black fence make up the graveyard as a full moon beats down on everything. This horse has been SOLD to Oklahoma.
Haunted Hayride (Mini)
Haunted Hayride is on the new Indian Pony mold and has a spooky wagon depicted on one side of her with bats flying around the sky. The horse and wagon glow in the dark. On her other side is the farm. There is a spooky glowing ghost horse in the barn, a witch flying through the sky and the skeleton on the grazing horse in the pasture, along with the faces in the pumpkins, also glow. In the day time, the scenery looks normal, but turn off the lights and watch the ghouls come out at night! This horse has been SOLD to Oklahoma.
Haunted Hayride
He has an autumn mural on one side with beautiful colorful leaves in the trees, a bull pulling a hay wagon, pumpkins, a full moon, bats in the sky and an owl in the tree. On his other side is a spookier scene with a couple witches gathered around a boiling kettle in a graveyard, casting spells to make the dead come to life again, a few glow in the dark ghosts in the sky, a glow in the dark skeleton crawling out of the ground, a demonic duck on the pond, Icabod Crane (headless Horseman) taking his evening ride amongst the fog and a haunted house on the tip of the horse's tail.
Lurker
What lurks at night, beyond the inky blackness of the haunted house? A werewolf peeking out from behind a willow tree whose limbs seemingly grab towards the sky? The headless horseman on his gallop through the graveyard while the undead grab towards him from beneath the earth? A crow calling to its flock mates, bats flying, the ghosts of old times past, and a full moon acting as the sole light on a creepy night? Find out by adding Lurker to your herd today! This horse has been SOLD to Indiana.
Crystal Skullz
Hand painted in 100% acrylics to look like a rainbow leopard appaloosa with skull shaped spots. Several of the spots even have peacock spotting, or mapping. He is a beautiful specimen in the daytime but when the lights go out, he is even more cool! He has a glow in the dark white body that brings out the shadows of the rainbow skulls in the night. This is one of my final Stablemates Halloween customs for 2020, as I will be moving on to Christmas decorators next.
