I would also like to show a sneak peek of the special run for spring 2018 for the Collector Club. It is a bay Appaloosa on the Wyatt mold named Fletcher. Just like how Breyer was cranking out pintos, this time it seems that they are on an Appaloosa streak with Scotty, Calvin and now Fletcher all being Appaloosas. Breyer has given the option if you pre-order your Collector Club membership by November 30th to select whether you want Fletcher in matte or glossy. All pre-orders after that will be in matte only. I have already paid for my 2018 membership and pre-ordered my glossy Fletcher. Although I typically prefer real horse colors in matte, I don't mind bays in glossy. Breyer has officially released Griffin the Collector Club special run for fall 2017! They didn't say how many total they were producing but he is limited to only one per member. I think I'm going to pass on this horse, simply because I don't collect cross breeds, a reason why Lakota (the QH/TB cross) and Markus (the Black Forest/Shire cross) have been crossed off my wanted list. I do have Griffin for sale on my eBay page if anyone would like to purchase my model. Next in the lineup is Cornelius the donkey. Now this guy was super cute and admittedly hard to pass up. Unfortunately I don't have enough for his $195 price tag, if I was even the lucky 50 people that are chosen to receive him, as he is a lottery model. He is made to look like candy corn and is, I think, one of the most unique decorators Breyer has done yet. I'd like to introduce Allegiance who is the 2017 clearware decorator for the Stablemates Club. I have to say that I have a bit of mixed feelings about this horse. For some reason, I had an idea that they were going to use a patriotic design, however I had no idea that they were going to use the exact design that they used with Patriot! He is on the Rivet mold, which is one of my personal favorite molds. Just wish he wasn't designed exactly like Patriot. However, one of the 2018 horses was released in the JAH magazine sent annually to Collector Club members. They are not only using a darn good mold but they are changing packaging from the velvet bags to miniature boxes next year! How cute is that? The new Vintage Club horses have been released for 2018. Ulysses is the first one and is a stunning glossy black dapple on the Legionario III mold. Breyer has released the colors of all the Vintage Club horses except the Weather Girls. The Premier Club has some real eye candy for next year. Their first model being released is Bristol, an adorably cute palomino pinto jumper. If that isn't enough to make you want to join, then Carina and Selene probably will. I have to say that I'm saddened to miss out on these two, a mare and foal set produced in - my opinion - one of the most realistic color patterns released through the Premier Club. I love how they're adding more and more detail with each year. This is Rosalind and Rigel, a mare and foal set of beautiful dapple cremello unicorns with blue eyes and a pearlescent sheen. Collector Club members had exclusive first access to purchasing this pair, which was limited to 1 per person. Finally, by being a Collector Club member, you receive discounted Breyerfest tickets, should you decide to go. The Breyerfest 2018 theme and celebration horse have been released. The theme is Off to the Races and the celebration horse is Brass Hat. I am very excited about this, as he is an Ohio Derby winner, and am already considering going to my first Breyerfest ever next year! What I can't tell is if the model is metallic, semi gloss or glossy.
