My - we'll call it - consolation order arrived today, pretty much Breyer sending me retired Mini Whinnies they found in their warehouse to make up for why in the heck they won't send me any Marc of Charms (just as a side note I have two other local dealers nearby and they haven't received him yet either). If you ordered a Marc with another regular run(s) that I have in stock using my combined shipping discount but you would like your other horse(s) to be shipped right now please contact me - if you pay the extra shipping I'd be more than happy to send you the rest of your ponies rather than waiting until November to receive them when Marc comes in. I know some of you ordered your Halloween horse with Marc and are eagerly awaiting to get Thriller by Halloween. I'd be more than happy to make that adjustment for you. Anyways, I was told my consolation order would be the Mini Whinnies series 1 but it was actually series 2 (which was better in my opinion since series 1 was mostly remakes of previously made MWs) so I now have a few complete sets to sell for those who missed out on this series. I also ended up with a couple chase models, which I have posted as well in my store. The remaining extras I was going to put in surprise candles available for purchase soon as a gift idea or stocking stuffer. There will be two different size candles, small 1 oz and large 10 oz depending upon your price range. Each will contain a hidden Mini Whinnies surprise once the wax melts (don't worry - the Mini Whinnie will be wrapped like a mummy to prevent the wax from ruining the paint) which I thought would be kind of cool compared to just simply sending blind bags. I also ordered some CollectA mini horse boxes to stock up on for the holidays since a lot of people bought them last year as stocking stuffers. One of them arrived with a cracked case so I took the horses out for a picture so you can see in-hand photos of what they look like. They are cute. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with the horses from the cracked case yet, maybe donate them to a children's charity? The rest are being offered for sale on my website. It almost makes me want to start selling the larger CollectA models but I didn't know how much of an interest there'd be in them. My final part of this order were the Mini Whinnies unicorn blind bags. I didn't receive a chase with this box so I'm assuming not all boxes have chases. Since I didn't receive the chase, I have even numbers of these to offer complete sets, minus the rare of course. My favorite is the Gypsy Vanner followed by the new draft horse mold. I also got my shipping notification from Peter Stone that Spendthrift is on his way. I'll post pictures as soon as he's here. This is my first PS ever so I'm both excited and nervous at the same time, excited because I always enjoy getting new plastic ponies, but nervous because I'm so afraid of a new... um... addiction that I don't really need. Once a year at Equilocity is what I agreed upon with my husband. We'll see how that goes.
