So first things first. My giveaway for my Breyerfest sale was done on my Youtube channel last night and I pulled three winners. You all will be getting your models with your orders, which are being shipped out today. Thank you to everyone who participated, it really means a lot to me, especially as it was a spur of the moment idea that I really didn't have much time to plan for but I was excited to try it. Congratulations to the winners of the giveaway: Danasha's Northern Tempest "Dani" GRAND PRIZE - Graham A. of TN 90s Throwback Classics RESERVE GRAND PRIZE - Kathryn B. of IL Black and white pinto American Dream HONORABLE MENTION - Karen P. of MN I hope you all enjoy your new companions! Next I have some great news to share... Breyerfest 2022 WILL BE LIVE AT THE KENTUCKY HORSE PARK! For those of you who can make it to the park, I hope to see you guys there next year! For those who can't attend live, Jamie did talk about still having a virtual event so that you all can still join in the fun! I think this is great of Breyer to do and a dream come true for many who can't make travelling to Kentucky a reality. I personally was incredibly happy with the changes Breyer made this year in regards to the virtual event. I ended up getting the special runs I wanted for my own collection and the store was a lot less hectic. Sure the run numbers were a lot higher this year but everything lasted out, and I think the addition of the glossies helped greatly for their to be mattes left by the end of the event. Overall I was incredibly pleased. Next year's theme has been announced. It will be called Prost! (German word for cheers) and will be a German inspired theme that will take place July 15-17. I foresee lots of drafters and Warmbloods with this theme, which Germany is known for. I personally like when they do a country theme versus a general theme (like this year for example) because then you can learn a bit about the country's history and facts you may not have known before. Also, if they throw in any lesser known breeds, like Jamie mentioned Rhendish drafts, German Riding horses and Black Forest horses, makes it so much more awesome. Anyone want the return of Georg as a special run for next year because I do!
So for the big question... people have been asking me what I plan to do in regards to pickups next year. Honestly guys I'm going to wait to see what components of Breyerfest is going to be offered live vs virtually before I decide about pickups because, as I've said, I have horrible luck in the lines in real life. I don't even know if they'll offer the special runs online or just the store specials. Keep me in mind if you need a pickup person but I probably won't know for sure until I get some more details from Breyer first which most likely won't be until the beginning of next year.

Awesome! Hubby is thrilled, because he loves that mold! I'm hoping they choose to offer online options for SR purchases next year. I think they might, as it was part of their survey they sent out, and I'm betting they made a tidy sum from the online event this year. It makes sense, as they're losing out on thousands of sales in other countries otherwise. Comments are closed.
